While we create the platforms that enable communication; the content is built from the cumulative contribution of our members. Through inspiration, education, challenge, and voice we as a community will encourage a more responsible lodging industry and traveling public.

Our goal is to enable the internet public to make informed decisions on the environmental impact of their travel and lodging choices. We accomplish this by continuing to maintain the most comprehensive resource available anywhere of "Green Properties" including resorts, hotels, bed and breakfasts, and hostels with user ratings and reviews. This resource is built through the contributions of property owners. We provide property owners with a platform to communicate with the public their environmental initiatives and track, record and respond to user concerns.

The success of our Mission and Goals rests almost entirely on You, our users. Your active participation in authoring property reviews, environmental self-audits, pictures, videos, and helpful tips help to build the content that is valuable to the internet public. It also puts pressure on the rest of the travel and lodging industry to "Green Up" their businesses. At the same time it helps to raise the awareness of environmental concerns and their impact on the world.
