In addition, Hyatt Regency Washington offers paperless check-in, pre-set thermostats in guestrooms, guest floor consolodation, meeting space closures and escalator shut-down during low occupancy times to conserve energy. Batteries, computers, light ballasts, and compact flourescent light bulbs are recycled. Cardboard is bailed and wood shipping pallets are also recycled.
