At Holiday Inn- we encouraged our guest to re-use towels and linen,request to change linen as needed.Roomattendant and housepersons are separating recycle items and garbage from the guestrooms.We increased our recycle percentage in a year from 27% to 62%.Converted our cleaning chemicals into green products.our paper towels has 50% post consumer waste content.Employees cafeteria using silver wares and plates, eliminates usages of disposables.Kitchen are sorting compostable items.Copy papers throught the hotel will be 100%PCW. Hold quarterly meeting with our staff regarding recycle program and giving incentives.Our laundry company is using green chemicals to wash our guest linens.Used soap and shampoo are being donated to Gubio Project- homeless association in San Francisco. Recycle station container in our lobby, garage ,employee restrooms and employee cafeteria.

At the Holiday Inn Express 550 Nothpoint,we converted the trash compactor into recycle compactor.We do have a lot of food consumption at the Express so we installed compostable container in the guestrooms. Roomattendant separates recycle items.
