Environmentally friendly measures that are reviewed include energy efficiency, water conservation, recycling, enviromentally safe cleaning, reduction of waste, ongoing maintenance, purchasing habits, plus many other factors. We have recently instituted a recycling program at our hotel. we have purchased blue bins for guest rooms, public areas and offices. at maintenance office light bulbs (all types) batteries, papers, are recycled. paint used is strictly latex. no oil paints will be used here. old paints are taken to the nearest fire department for recycling. I hope within the next two years we will be completely eco friendly. we have spoken to our suppliers to provide only eco friendly chemicals, however still not completely available. I have noticed that the staff have been extremely happy with this action.
