There are 46 properties currently listed in Victoria. At this time there are 23 "Green" lodging properties listed of which 12 properties have completed the iStayGreen Audit. Hotel Grand Pacific has been awarded a 3 Green Eco-Leaf Rating.
To qualify for the Green Eco-Leaf Rating Hotel Grand Pacific completed an audit of their property's compliance with over 70 unique eco-initiatives. Environmentally friendly measures that are reviewed include energy efficiency, water conservation, recycling, enviromentally safe cleaning, reduction of waste, ongoing maintenance, purchasing habits, plus many other factors. In it's efforts to create a more sustainable travel future and reduce their impact on our environment, Hotel Grand Pacific employs 35 eco-initiatives.

• Sheets are exchanged every three days unless requested by guests • Towels are exchanged only when guests request new ones • Water provided in meeting rooms are in jugs not bottled water • Low Flow Showerheads • Low Flow/Volume Toilets • All garbage is separated into recycling bins • Incandescent bulbs have been replaced with low energy consumption lighting wherever possible • Eco-Friendly cleaning products are used wherever possible • All partly used soap bars are sent out for recycling • Suppliers are encouraged to send environmentally friendly products, and boxes are returned to them whenever possible • Censors in the bedroom recognize when bedrooms have been vacant for more than 15 minutes and automatically normalize temperature so that we are not wasting energy on empty rooms • Old Furniture is donated or recycled • Our athletic club features an Ozonated Pool which uses a minimal amount of chlorine • Warm air from the pool area is reclaimed to pre-heat hotel hot water • Natural light is used as much as possible in all meeting rooms • All landscaping is organic with a completely natural integrated pest-management system in place • Paper towel have been eliminated in the Spa area • Administration offices use a paper with a very high percentage of recycled material • All products in use in the Spa are certified organic and non-animal tested • Restaurant participates in the Ocean Wise program • Care is taken in all departments to consciously reduce the amount of paper used and wasted. • Recycling boxes have been put in all guestrooms as well as at every employees desk. • The hotel has an active environmental committee that constantly reviews and investigates ways in which the hotel can improve on its environmental policies and practices.
