We have our own water facility utilizaing sand filtration. For over 20 years we have only installed low wattage down lights out side to minimize light pollution. Long before it became fashionable we kept to a minimum outside lights and signage, utilized eco-friendly interior lights, serve organic foods using local vendors as much as possible. As much as possible all purchases are from the local area. For the most part furniture and fixtures, including lighting, are made in our local valley. The resort has over 3,000 acres, the majority of which is not developed so visitors from outside a rural area will have the opportunity to enjoy seeing a woring ranch and play on the trails. The resort does not have televisions in guest rooms, has rejected cell phone towers and changed most wood burning fire places to gas. |
