The follow is a list of some of the practices we try to employ: -We provide "real" dishes, cutlery, etc. in all our rooms to discourage the use of disposable containers. -All staff are routinely reminded to recycle anything that is recyclable that is left in guest rooms. -As well, staff are reminded to turn off lights that are not necessary and replace light bulbs only with energy efficient ones. -All shower heads, etc. are replaced with energy efficient, low-flow alternatives. -We have reading materials, etc.available in the lobby rather than delivering them to individual rooms where they are often not used. -We continually monitor the temperature of our guest rooms so that un-used rooms are not heated/cooled when not in use. |
