Lastly I am an Architect working as a Project Manager for Carrasco & Associates in Palo Alto. I am well aware of the USGBC LEED guidelines to get certification, but due to the economic downturn we are unable to afford the commissioning costs and soft costs included in getting certified. My parents and I are the owner and operators. So I know everything that goes on at my hotel.
