In EVERY marketing message to prospective guests we commit to the environment using phrasing such as "green and organic", "Boulder Hotels Eco Leader", "eco-friendly lodging", and the like. On our website, the prominence of our environmental commitment page is second only to that of our rooms. We have an "Environmental Development Plan" which funds our green capital expenditures with one percent of our revenues. We have reduced kilowatt hours used both on an absolute basis and on a "per room night" basis in the five years we have run the property. And we are not done... more is coming! |
