An authentic Santa Barbara experience starts at the Simpson House Inn which dates from 1874. The inn was originally built by Robert and Julia Simpson who emigrated from Scotland. The historic Italianate Victorian manor is considered one of the best preserved and restored homes of its era in California. There are six luxurious guest rooms available in the estate house that are complemented by four, private English-style cottages and four spacious, well-appointed guestrooms in the historic Carriage House, originally built in 1876.
