their shuttle service was usually overcrowded and needed to be larger or running more than once an hour when the hotel was full.
i would look for a hotel within walking distance of the downtown area and piers next time.
could have used a free bagel or something for breakfast

We enjoyed the spacious room, but the best feature of the hotel is its staff. Everyone we dealt with was friendly and helpful. The weekend concierge was eager to help and wanted to ensure we chose the right activities for our short stay. Our room was serviced promptly every morning and was kept very clean. The hotel is across from Smather's Beach, and the shuttles to town are quite convenient. We enjoyed a pleasant, no-hassle stay and would return to the Sheraton Suites. The restaurant menu consisted of only four entrees, but the breakfast buffet was very good.
Pros:
Dottie the concierge
Cons:
Restaurant menu

We've traveled to the Keys numerous times and this hotel by far was the best value. Facilities are good, rooms are excellent, housekeeping was prompt and effcient, and the free shuttle to and from town can not be beat. Restaurant food was lacking, but servers were very pleasant and courteous. For dining though, it's just better to find some local places to go and eat like Sarabeth's...especially for breakfast!

Enjoyed staying at the Sheraton Suites. Rooms are very large which is great. Pool was super. Great place for families!! Away from downtown, however, nice secluded area across from beach. Dinner at restaurant was very good, breakfast was a bit expensive.

I thought the Sheration was a great place to stay. Wonderful location right across the street from Smathers Beach. The dining room needs some improvement. We had dinner there one night and the fish was terrible. Not good food, but wonderful place to stay if you eat somewhere else.

Hotel had a major water pipe burst before we checked in and we were not advised of problem when we checked in. We were without water for most of the first day of our visit. Hotel misadvertised their hotel's happy hour at bar and in both situations offered nothing but a token apology and no consideration for our inconvenience. Bartender and front desk employees were both rude to our concerns and hotel manager never answered an email complaint I sent upon my return.

My husband and I stayed here over the Thanksgiving weekend. The hotel was nice but the housekeeping was lacking. We had to ask for towels at 800 at night because we weren't left any. The next day we left the room at 1000 in the morning and came back at 430 to find our room still had not had maid service. We left the room for a couple of hours and when we came back the room had hurriedly been gone over. The next morning the maid was knocking on the door at 830 wanting to come in. The shuttle service is great! Staff very friendly.

We enjoyed staying at this hotel. Friendly staff, clean room, very nice pool area, great beds. Across street from Smathers Beach. Would highly recommend dining at Chico's Cantina on Stock Island. Great mexican food, great service & very clean. Affordable
