My husband and I just spent 3 days and thought the hotel was great. The staff, restaurant, rooms were large and quiet. My only complaint was that I paid an extra $50 a night for oceanview and all we could see were three palm trees and if you looked down, you could see cars in a parking lot. We never saw the ocean or Mallory Square.
Pros:
rooms and pool area
Cons:
nothing

The rooms were beautiful, decorated in bold Caribbean colors. They were even bigger than they looked in photos. We loved being on Mallory Square and near restaurants and shops. We particularly enjoyed swimming in the hotel pool, while watching the sun set.
Pros:
location
Cons:

Everything was great - location, room, pool. We didn't eat at the Hot Tim Roof, so don't know about that. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Room was great - we had an oceanview room, but one of the ones that overlooked the parking lot also. Next time, I would ask for a room overlooking the pool and ocean. We will definitely go back

The location was great - close to everything. Our hotel room was very nicely decorated - bright and cheery. The bathroom was also very nicely decorated & good size. The whirlpool worked, but was older and needed to be cleaned. That aside, I would definitely stay there again.

This hotel is located in an excellent spot, it has great views and the service wasn't bad. However, at $* per night, I expected a much nicer room. You couldn't shut the bathroom door, the shower was pretty bad, the whirlpool tub looked like it was installed in 1972 & it's filter was full of hair!! It wasn't too clean---our socks turned black walking across the floor. The room needed some serious renovation.

This was our second trip to Key West and wanted to stay at this end of the island this time because it was closer to all the action. The hotel was beautiful and the people who work there were all very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and the bed was extremely comfortable. The pool deck was a warm place to lay out even though the weather wasn't cooperating. This a great place to stay!!

We enjoyed the excellent service balanced with just the right amount of privacy. Close to everything and provided spectacular views of the water and Mallory Square. We watched the sunset activities from our private deck.

I went to Key West for a relaxing birthday get-away. I partied so much I forgot to relax. I loved every moment. The hotel is in a perfect location and the service was up to par. ** Quick tip ** Dont eat the snaks in the room. Go to he Eckards next store and stock up on water, soda, chips etc... you'll save alot
