I was looking forward to staying here after all the reviews that I had read. However, all of that changed as soon as I checked in and was informed that I was going to be charged $50 a day in incidentals whether or not I used them. It would then be up to my bank to credit this back and the hotel would not be held responsible. What made it worse is 4 days into my stay they charge my account another $ and they could not expain why. Needless to say, I will never stay in this hotel again.

We liked the room & everything was very nice. Our only problems was with the restaurant staff. Couldn't get any service, coffee was horrible & stale. For the price, eat somewhere else but stay here, it's a very nice room w/ a great view of the water!

I had to fly to Seattle for two days to see a friend performing in a show at the 5th Avenue Theatre and picked this hotel because it was steps from the stage door and had free wireless. It's been one of my better hotel experiences. My top floor room was attractive, quiet, very clean, and very comfortable. If I had my bookshelves and my dog, I'd have moved in and called it home. Great location in walking distance to Pike Place and a great restaurant, Palomino, across the street. If I ever have reason to visit Seattle again, I would make a point to stay here.
