Hilton Lake Buena vista Hotel, is located right across from Downtown Disney... Great Location. My boyfriend and I visit the hotel last weekend on a business travel and we had a great time. It was very centric... The hotel itself is pretty good, it has few restaurants to acomodate different food taste. The sport bar is nice and the nachos are good!! *wink*.. but if you as us... the best hotel feature are its BEDSSSS.... is heaven on earth. Even though it was a business trip... Hilton Lake Buena Vista Hotel will definitely be on our top 5 the next time we visit Orlando!!

My stay started with a room with a smell of feet. THat was corrected and they stay was ok. I expected more from a Hilton. You had to pay for the use of a frige. In room prices were terrible. The shuttles were good. I'll give it another try. The beds need to be a little larger for doubles.

Service
Cons:
Beds were on the small side

AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!! We checked into the hotel and were told that we had to take a smoking rooom. I explained I had two asthmatic childred and they still kept our money. We left the hotel and had to go to another at midnight. Terrible attitudes; terrible experience. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!!!

We had a confirmation with Hilton and had prepaid on credit card. Arrived to no rooms available. Given a credit and sent to Embassy Suites further away from attractions. Room unacceptable. Called Hilton back and they sent us to their Grand Vacation club. Nice place but spent 3hrs running around and was only spending one day at the park!

My wife and I are hotel snobs and hate being disappointed. The room we were in was recently renovated and nice beds were heavenly. The pools were amazing, but a little cool, the bar staff were awesome for my night cap. We bought most of our food for disney in the marketplace and it was excellent fresh and tasty and a little less money than disney. Pizza was surprisingly good as were the morning pastries and starbucks coffee. Shuttles to Disney were slow at times but disney shuttles are only 500 yards away from the other side of the hotel...

This hotel was wonderful, the service was great and the shuttles to and from the Disney resort were consistent and extremely helpful. My only complaint is that for the cost of the hotel, it was annoying that there was no continental breakfast.

During my stay was misled and told I was a preferred customer to be shown new facilities and given breakfast for one hour. They took me offsite and proceeded to hold me hostage for a timeshare presentation for five hours. They refused to return me to the hotel or make compensation for my inconvenience. I wasted my last vacation day. Would NEVER stay here again--or at any Hilton because of this poor treatment.

The room had two double beds and the view was of busy I-4. (right outside our window).
Overall, the hotel is quite dated. The facilities and rooms are in need of upgrades and refurbishment. The beds in the room were very small (for a double) and quite uncomfortable. The bathroom was not equipped with an exhaust fan, there was a constant woosh of I-4 traffic and the maid service came around 4 p.m.
We would not stay at this hotel again and do not recommend it to anyone traveling to Disney World.

When my husband and I checked in we were very pleased by the staff and the ambiance of the hotel. We told them we were there for our anniversary and they upgraded us to a suite. However, on our way to our room a very pushy sales woman kept insisting that we come to her sales booth to hear about vacation packages. VERY PUSHY SALES PEOPLE!

The service was tops from the moment we arrived for a weekend family reunion. It helped that we were all Hilton Honors members because it gave us a discount on each of the six rooms and free breakfast buffet for everyone. The breakfast was excellent (but would have been expensive without coupons). The beds were extremely comfortable and my only complaint was that the bathroom had no fan so the heat and moisture stayed for a while. The hotel had Santa in the lobby area two nights to see the kids and a character breakfast our last morning - very nice surprises!

I stayed at this hotel with my two daughters for 5 nights. I have nothing negative to say, we all had a great time, the staff are friendly and a great location if you plan on attending Walt Disney World theme parks. Would go back...

Not what I expected. Our room had several problem & it took them 3 days to get us a new one which wasnt much better. The prices of food in their restaurants/shops are ridiculious & even worse in your room ($4.50 for a small bottle of water). The sales people constantly try to get you to purchase their vacation package. The shuttles buses to Disney were horrible with keeping on their time schedule. There are cheaper and better hotels in the area.

As travel agents, we are particularly critical but the Hilton passed most tests. Rooms are clean and comfortable but unspectacular. Bathrooms are ok but that's all. Pools are large but a little dated. Found service generally great but restaurant staff were less so. Need to be close to Disney and want a fair rate, Hilton is a good bet.
