The location was great, the breakfast surprisingly good, and the staff extremely welcoming and helpful. I would stay here again. I have stayed elsewhere in SB and not been half as satisfied.

The room was old, stuffy, and cramped and definately not worth the money. It is located almost 2 miles from the beach. We checked in after dark and I wondered why the room was so noisy - in the a.m. I saw the broken window. Oh and if you were hoping to take a nice hot bath to relax, forget about it because the room doesn't have a bath!

My husband and I had a great two-night stay at Brisas del Mar. The exterior is beautifully maintained. The rooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished. I was impressed with the friendly service, and appreciated the amenities -- good breakfasts, decent wine and cheese at 4:30, cookies at 6:30pm, big TV with cable, and an outstanding DVD collection with new releases and awesome oldies. The outdoor hot tub and pool were clean and well-maintained. We'd return gladly!

Very nice hotel with very friendly staff. The hotel was at a great location close to State St. and the Harbor with plenty of choices for shopping and dining. Nice
evening cheese & wine and continental Breakfast. Heated pool & Hot tub nice as well. Rooms were plenty large with kithchen, however a little noisy but most of the rooms are being renovated. Will definitely stay there again. Staff very helpful and accomodating.

We had a king Suite which was laid out nicely, but decor & furnishings need to be redone & updated!

I agree whole heartedly with the reviews before me. It was beautifully decorated, homey, really good breakfast, and even free up-to-date movies. But the bed was the worst I have ever slept on. I have stayed at everything from Travel Lodge to the Sheraton, but this was the worst. I woke up barely able to move my body hurt so bad from the hard mattress. I would think for the price and how cute the rooms are the beds should be B&B quality, not prison quality.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was spacious and comfortable although the decor was slighly outdated. The staff were wonderfully helpful. The room had a DVD player and they had a number of DVDs available at no cost. We were kind of disappointed with breakfast it was advertised as omelette bar but in reality had pre-made cheese omelettes, but it was still good.

Great staff
