The last time I was in Solvang was 25 years ago. My husband and I were looking for a affordable close overnight get away. There are many places to stay in Solvang but we were extremly pleased with our choice to stay at the Hadsten. Oh yes, the pool (inside) is open and they have a very nice spa and lounge. I will stay here again!

We were very pleased at how nice this hotel is changing. When it all complete it should be wonderful. A very romantic get-away. They made every effort to make sure we were happy and not bothered by the construction. Great Price for that nice of a room

Very Impressed. Still under construction in Aug07 but the staff could not have been nicer about it. Rooms we just re-done and very very nice. Very clean and outstanding apperence. From the Beds to the color choices to the TV and fire place they spared no expense. We will be back and can't wait to see it finished. I hope they keep up the clean rooms and rates down.

1) Customer service is a joke. They were not helpful and gave us no respect.
2) False advertising. The pool was not open; they failed to indicate that their pool amenities would be closed. When we asked when their pool is open (time of year), they gave us no reply.
3) Construction. This hotel is in constant construction (not indicated by the listing). They will start construction at 7am sharp, no matter what their occupants say.
4) Internet connection never worked. If you need to access the internet while you are on vacation, do not stay at the Hadsten House.
